Custom-built bicycle wheels (you choose the components, we make them). All our wheels are handmade in Latvia, Cēsis and we use high precision equipment at the best price. With our built wheels, athletes have competed in both the Olympic Games, World and European championships and other competitions of various ranks.

Your individual combination of hubs and rims.

We offer a selection of hubs and rims and spokes. We leave you all the choices in our range, as well as work with any other components not in our offer. Once you have made your selection and completed the order, the manual work begins.

Correct spoke length.

In the first stage, the length of the spokes is determined from the geometry of the hubs and rims. This step is always necessary, we have tools with which we can measure any circumference and hub to determine and calculate the correct length of the spokes. We are also able to adjust the correct spoke length if it is too long by pinching it shorter (with 0.5mm accuracy) and creating a new thread. Once the length of the spokes has been determined and adjusted, assembly begins.

Lacing

We make most of the wheels we build with a triple crossing of spokes. Most customers consider this pattern the standard. Of course, there are other lacing patterns here, but you will never hear anything bad about the triple crossing. We use different types of Sapim nipples in both aluminum and brass.

Truing and tensioning

There is also a lot of focus on truing. Here, only the best tools are used. Digital truing equipment and a spoke tension gauge fitted to a stationary truing stand and a spoke tensioning press are our standard equipment. We are committed not only to adjust the lateral and vertical deflections as perfectly as possible, but also to maintaining a constant high spoke tension. We increase the tension in small increments while keeping the circumference as deviating as possible. At regular intervals, pressure is applied to the spokes on both sides to seat the spoke heads and to reduce the local stress, and after each truing cycle of the wheel, the spoke is equalized, the spoke tension is equalized in the press which reduces the breakage of heads and spokes during wheel operation. This procedure creates the most stable and durable wheel. On each side of the wheel we create a constantly high, but not too high, spoke tension. This prevents possible lateral movement.

Tolerances

Each wheel we build has tolerances up to a maximum of 0.15 mm from the center horizontally and only up to 0.25 mm from the center laterally and an average spoke tension of 1100 N on the loaded side of the wheel spokes. The exact spoke tension also depends on the manufacturer's possible maximum values. Therefore, the spoke tension can be well above 1100 N if allowed by the hub and rim. The spoke tension reaches a perfect level in all aspects. Also, the maximum lateral deviation of the hub from the center does not exceed 0.25 mm.

You will get a wheel that was built from the first to the last step by hand. Each wheel gets the work it needs to be durable and as perfect as possible. Unlike robot-made wheels, you have all the options for assembling your own wheel. The wheels are adapted to the needs of each individual rider. Our system is diversity, not uniformity! We will also build lefty, Liteville EVO6, Cannondale ai offset (F-Si) wheels.
