FIELDS OF APPLICATION
For the application of coatings to the buffed tyre inside when repairing tyres in combination with REMA TIP TOP tyre repair patches.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Stir well before use.
A) When using REMA TIP TOP RAD, PN, FRU or UP tyre repair patches, turn the tyre so that the repair area is in the 3 or 9 o ́clock position and do not speed up the drying with the use of compressed air or a blow dryer.
When using tyre repair patches in combination with RUBBER SV GUM for laminating:
Apply an even coat to the tyre inside and the patch unit.
In case of exposed textile cords and when providing OTR/EM tyre repairs, apply two even coats to the tyre inside and the patch unit.
Observe the drying time of the first coat: min. 60 minutes (test with the back of your finger).
Observe the drying time of the second coat: 10 – 45 minutes (test with the back of your finger).
Protect the coating from sunlight and draught in order to avoid over-drying.
B) When using REMA TIP TOP RAD STEM, SRAS, SEALASTIC, MINICOMBI or SUPER SL repair material:
Pre-treat the puncture channel or repair plug with CEMENT SC-BL according to the respective application instructions and repair charts.
WAITING TIME BEFORE PUTTING THE TYRE INTO OPERATION
Repair patch – self-vulcanisation: 24 h (when providing OTR/EM tyre repairs: 48 h) at a minimum temperature of 18 °C (64 °F).
Repair patch – hot-vulcanisation: until the repair area is completely cooled down to ambient temperature.
